Linux, DevOps Fundamentals & Git
Linux Fundamentals — Introduction to Linux/Unix, Linux architecture, file system structure, essential commands, users, groups, permissions, ownership and package management.
Linux Administration — Process and service management, systemctl, logs, SSH, networking basics, disk management and basic Linux security.
Bash Scripting — Variables, conditions, loops, functions, exit codes and scripts for basic system and deployment automation.
DevOps Fundamentals — DevOps culture, lifecycle, Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, SRE fundamentals and DORA metrics.
Git & GitHub — Git installation, repositories, commits, branches, merge, rebase, remote repositories, Pull Requests, conflict resolution and collaborative Git workflows.
Practical Outcome
Linux + Git Project — Configure a Linux server, automate basic administration using Bash and manage the project through Git/GitHub.
Phase 2 — Day 15 to Day 28
AWS Cloud, Terraform & Ansible
AWS Cloud Fundamentals — Cloud computing, AWS Regions and Availability Zones, IAM, shared responsibility model and cloud security fundamentals.
AWS Networking — VPC, CIDR, public/private subnets, route tables, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Security Groups and basic AWS networking.
AWS Compute & Storage — EC2, AMIs, Launch Templates, EBS, S3, Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing.
AWS Database Services — Introduction to RDS, MySQL/PostgreSQL, backups, Multi-AZ and connecting applications with databases.
Terraform — Infrastructure as Code, providers, resources, variables, outputs, state, modules and provisioning AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Ansible — Configuration management, inventory, playbooks, variables, loops, handlers, templates, roles and automated server configuration.
Practical Outcome
AWS Automation Project — Create AWS infrastructure using Terraform and automatically configure EC2 servers using Ansible.
Phase 3 — Day 29 to Day 42
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD & DevSecOps
Docker & Containers — Container concepts, Docker architecture, images, containers, Dockerfiles, volumes, networks, multi-stage builds and Docker Compose.
Kubernetes — Kubernetes architecture, Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, storage, health checks and scaling.
AWS Containers — Introduction to Amazon ECR, ECS, Fargate and Amazon EKS for running containerized applications on AWS.
CI/CD — Build automated pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins for code build, testing, Docker image creation and deployment.
DevSecOps — Integrate security into CI/CD using tools such as SonarQube, Trivy and IaC security scanning.
GitOps — Introduction to GitOps and Argo CD for automated Kubernetes deployments.
Monitoring & Observability — Introduction to Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, logs, metrics, alerts and OpenTelemetry.
Practical Outcome
End-to-End DevOps Project — Build a pipeline from GitHub → CI/CD → Docker → Container Registry → Kubernetes → Monitoring.
FINAL 3 DAYS — Day 43 to Day 45
Capstone, Assessment & Interview Preparation
Capstone Project — Build and deploy a complete production-style application using Git, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
DevSecOps Implementation — Add automated code quality, vulnerability and container security checks to the deployment pipeline.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting — Monitor the application and troubleshoot common Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, networking and deployment issues.
Project Presentation — Demonstrate the complete project and explain the architecture, tools and deployment process.
Technical Assessment — Evaluate practical knowledge through hands-on tasks and troubleshooting scenarios.
Interview Preparation — DevOps interview questions, real-world scenarios, resume guidance, GitHub portfolio review and mock interview.
