IT Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, configure, and maintain IT hardware systems, including servers, storage devices, routers, switches, PCs, and other network equipment.

• Assemble, test, and deploy PCs tailored to user requirements and organizational standards.

• Perform hardware troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair to minimize system downtime and ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers and IT staff to integrate and optimize hardware and software solutions.

• Monitor hardware performance metrics, analyze system health, and make informed recommendations for upgrades or replacements.

• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware configurations, policies, procedures, and inventory.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards regarding hardware security, safety, and environmental guidelines.

• Assist in the procurement process by evaluating and recommending new hardware technologies based on organizational needs and budget considerations.

• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to end-users and IT team members on hardware usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT Hardware Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics — highly preferred.

• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
