Goal: Learn how to find and analyze keywords

  • Introduction to keyword research and its role in SEO.

  • Use free tools like:

    • Google Keyword Planner

    • Ubersuggest or KeywordTool.io

  • Identify:

    • Target keywords for a sample business or website.

    • Search volume and keyword difficulty.

  • Create a basic keyword list for SEO content planning.


Week 3: On-Page SEO

Goal: Apply on-page SEO techniques to web content

  • Write optimized:

    • Meta titles & descriptions.

    • Headings (H1, H2, etc.).

    • SEO-friendly URLs.

  • Internal linking best practices.

  • Image SEO:

    • Use of alt text and compression.

  • Optimize a sample web page using these elements.


Week 4: Off-Page SEO & Link Building

Goal: Learn how to build backlinks to improve domain authority

  • Understand backlinks and their role in SEO.

  • Practice:

    • Social bookmarking.

    • Profile creation.

    • Image submissions.

    • Classified ad postings.

Week 5: Social Media for SEO & Branding

Goal: Learn how social media complements SEO efforts

    • Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter.

  • Understand:

    • Different content formats (image, text, video, story).

    • Engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach).

    • Audience targeting techniques.

Week 6: Social Media Content Creation

Goal: Start planning and creating content for social platforms

  • Create posts (text, image, hashtag strategy) for each platform.

  • Build a 7-day content calendar for a brand.

  • Analyze post engagement (reach, likes, comments).
